Over the last three winters in southwestern Iowa, Waubonsie State Park has opened its doors to artists from across the region in a unique Artist in Residence program. These residencies offer selected applicants the chance to live for several weeks in a cabin at the park, immersing themselves in the park's natural environment and their own artistic explorations, and then share the experience with the public though their art. This promotional video shares more about the artists, the program, and the winter beauty of the park itself.
